The courses can be run at your premises so that the staff can learn in a familiar setting with other people they already know leading to a relaxed and fun course.
The ethos of the course is practical based to give real hands-on experience.

This course is designed to give staff an understanding of the medical conditions they may face in a workplace to give them the ability to respond effectively with any accident situation.
Assessment is done by continuous monitoring of the practical activities throughout the course and all successful staff will receive a HSE accredited certificate which is then valid for 3 years.
Duration: 6 hours
Courses can be split into 2 x 3 hour sessions if preferred.
Group size: minimum 8 people – no maximum number
This is suitable for those who already hold a valid 3 year FAW or EFAW (Appointed Person) certificate and who wish to keep their skills updated in accordance with the best practice guidelines from the HSE.
Duration: 3 hours
Course can be run at times to suit your requirements/shift patterns.
Group size: minimum 8 people – no maximum number
This is an in depth course covering a wide range of first aid incidents and illnesses including heart attack, stroke, bleeding, epilepsy, asthma, burns and practical instruction in adult CPR.
There is a final practical assessment at the end of the course leading to a certificate valid for 3 years. A half day annual update of practical skills is recommended by the HSE.
Duration: 3 days
Courses can be run as 3 consecutive days or split over several weeks if preferred.
Group size: minimum 6 staff – maximum 12 with one tutor. Larger groups could be catered for with additional tutors if required.
This course is for those staff who already hold the First Aid at Work certificate which is about to expire and wish to requalify for another 3 years. They would need to produce their previous certificate in advance of this course to be eligible.
Duration: 2 days
Can be run as 2 consecutive days or split over 2 weeks if preferred. Can also be run as 4 x 3 hour sessions during the day, or as twilight sessions
Group size: Minimum 6 staff – maximum 12 with one tutor. Larger groups could be catered for with additional tutors if required
The course covers the requirements for the first aid course as specified by Ofsted.
This course provide staff with knowledge and understanding of first aid to provide appropriate care and manage life threatening conditions, illness and injuries identified in any Early Years setting such as a nursery, pre school, after school club or reception classes as well as infants and primary classes.
The course is structured so that staff get the opportunity to practice as many of the skills they have learnt during the course on each other to reinforce the knowledge in a fun environment.
At the end of the course there is an assessment after which each student will receive a certificate which is then valid for 3 years.

Group size: minimum 8 staff. For groups larger than 12 staff, then additional tutors will be provided at the same cost per head.
