forest school

This fully accredited course is the one which Ofsted require for those working with children in schools, nurseries and other early years settings, such as before and after school settings, playgroups that are registered as a Forest School or Nursery setting. The learners will get 2 qualifications upon successful completion

a) L3 Paediatric First Aid

b)Forest School/Outdoor First Aid

The course is split up into 2 modules.

Module 1 – E-learning

Once you are confirmed as having a place on the course you will be sent a link to register to complete the e-learning section.  This is split into 9 modules and can be completed over several sessions if required and will take approximately 6 hours to complete.  You must have fully completed this module before you can attend the Module 2 day.

Module 2 – Trainer led session

This can be held at your premises with our highly experienced trainers.  This is a very practical 8 hour session and will ensure that the learner has a full understanding of all of the areas covered in Paediatric First Aid and also how to deal with accidents and illness when in the forest environment.  Part of this course is done outside so you need to provide appropriate clothing and be willing to participate fully in all of the outdoor practical activities regardless of the weather.

We also hold regular open courses at our training venue at Pool House Primary School in Preston  (see Open Courses page for more information.)

No previous knowledge is required to attend the course.

Places available from £94 per person
