DESCRIPTION:This course provide staff with knowledge and understanding of f
 irst aid to provide appropriate care and manage life threatening condition
 s\, illness and injuries identified in any Early Years setting such as a
  nursery\, childminders\, pre school\, after school club or reception clas
 ses as well as infants and primary classes.\n\nThe course is structured so
  that everyone gets the opportunity to practice  the skills they have lea
 rnt during the course on each other to reinforce the knowledge in a fun en
 vironment.\n\nAt the end of the course there is an assessment after which 
 each student will receive a certificate which is then valid for 3 years.\n
 \nAs an addition to the set criteria\, we also include the use of an Autom
 atic External Defibrillator into our courses in line with the recommendati
 ons from the Health &amp\; Safety Executive (HSE).\n\nTotal Course Duratio
 n:12 hours\n\nBlended Learning  - This allows delegates to learn part of 
 the syllabus independently of the trainer or classroom. The course is 6 ho
